June 22, 2017, Montreal – Sixty-three firefighters who were charged in connection with the ransacking of Montreal city hall three summers ago have seen the criminal accusations filed against them stayed as part of an agreement reach with the Crown. A Crown prosecutor told Quebec Court Judge Lori Renee Weitzman that in exchange for the stay of proceedings each person charged has agreed to pay fines totaling more than $71,000.
