Kimball Yorston is a dedicated, lifelong firefighter who has served both the Strathmore and Chestermere Fire Departments in Alberta. In the fall of 2025, Kimball was diagnosed with atypical ALS. This custom crest was designed to honour his legacy and support his ongoing battle. Side by side, we stand and fight together with Yorston.
In true Kimball fashion, he is turning his personal fight into a mission for others. He is actively advocating to get ALS and other neurodegenerative diseases recognized as presumptive illnesses by WCB, while also pushing to shorten latency periods for recognized cancers and PTSD.
