New chief in Kelowna

June 20, 2017, Kelowna, B.C. – Travis Whiting will have to remove the deputy from his title, as he is Kelowna’s new fire chief. Whiting, who has served as deputy fire chief for the past two years, beat out candidates from across the country, according to a City of Kelowna media release.
