Massive house fire forces crews to withdraw

Oct. 3, 2017, Hamilton, Ont. – A massive fire that tore through an Ancaster home early Sunday, caused an estimated $750,000 in damages and forced fire crews to withdraw. Hamilton Fire Department spokesperson Claudio Mostacci told The Hamilton Specator that fire crews began a defensive attack and called for additional resource after withdrawing from the unstable structure.
