Firefighting equipment stolen from Sooke Fire Department

June 28, 2018, Sooke, B.C. – Sooke RCMP are investigating after $10,000 worth of equipment used to fight forest fires was stolen from the Sooke Fire Department. Last week, thieves broke into an equipment trailer in the parking lot of the main fire hall. Stolen items included a wick pump, sprinkler valves and other equipment used to fight fires.
