Early morning fire damages Wabush home

Feb. 15, 2019, Wabush, N.L. – Fire crews in western Labrador rushed to the scene of a house fire early Thursday morning that lit up the mining town’s sky with flames. Fire Chief Marv Butler says crews were called to a Wabush home around 6:30 a.m. By mid-afternoon, it was under control and handed over to the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary.
