Charges withdrawn in firefighter training death case

March 15, 2018, Hanover, Ont. – A charge of criminal negligence causing death, involving the drowning death of a firefighter trainee near Hanover, has been withdrawn by the crown attorney. The case against Terry Harrison of Herschel Rescue Training Systems came to Walkerton court yesterday and the crown withdrew the charge saying there was no reasonable expectation of a conviction.
